Barnes Mill Covered Bridge

In the early 1800's, J. Barnes built a sawmill and a gristmill at this location. He successfully operated the mills for multiple decades. In 1874, this covered bridge was built on Mr. Barnes' property, next to the mills. The Geer Family eventually purchased the mills and changed the name to Geer's Mill.
