Helmick Covered Bridge

The small village of Helmick was located in this area. The village was named after a Tuscarawas County congressman named William Helmick. Helmick had 2 mills, and one of them was located next to this covered bridge. Fire destroyed the village not once, but 3 times over the years. Today, only a few houses, a church, and this covered bridge remain.
