Hoadley Tunnel

This tunnel was built around 1882 by the Toledo, Cincinnati, & St. Louis Railroad. In 1891, the Cincinnati, Hamilton, & Dayton Railroad took control of the line. The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad purchased the line in June, 1917. The tracks were abandoned that same year, after the takeover.

The small village of Hoadley Station was located here. As the name suggests, it was a station on the railroad. After the line was abandoned, it quickly faded away into oblivion. The small village of Hoadley was also located nearby.
