I believe this is a lime kiln. However, I may be wrong. I haven't been able to obtain any information on this particular structure yet. Please send me an e-mail if you know anything about it.

Lime was a vital material used to manufacture iron in the furnaces. The Lawrence Furnace was actually located nearby.
