Originally, this covered bridge spanned Middle Run on Rt. 154, between Lisbon and Elkton. It was converted to a storage shed and moved twice by Elkrun Township Trustees. A covered bridge researcher named Thomas Malone found and recognized it as a covered bridge. It was moved one last time to it's current location at Beaver Creek State Park, next to Gaston's Mill.
