Newton Falls Covered Bridge

This covered bridge has survived floods and a tornado, which touched down in May 31, 1985. The crosswalk was added in 1921-1922 so the local children could safely cross over the East Branch of the Mahoning River on their way to school. The Pennsylvania and Ohio Canal passed through Newton Falls.
