Rain Rock Covered Bridge

I believe this covered bridge originally spanned Long Run on Rainrock Road, near Rain Rock. Rain Rock wasn't a village, it was simply a place to meet and picnic. The name originated from the fact that a cave there drips water from the roof, as-if the rock is raining. People also said it appeared as-if it had rained rocks, due to the numerous boulders that are scattered about the land. In reality, a glacier deposited them as it receded and melted away.
