Roberts Covered Bridge

This covered bridge was built by Orlistus Roberts and Joseph Campbell. Unfortunately, Roberts died before the bridge was completed. His apprentice, Joseph Campbell, finished it for him. Originally, it spanned Seven Mile Creek on Old Camden Pike. On August 7, 1986, arsonists set the bridge on fire. Although it was severely damaged, it didn't collapse due to it's strong Double-Burr Arch Truss.

This is the oldest covered bridge in Ohio, second oldest covered bridge in the United States, and one of only six double-barrel covered bridges remaining in the United States.
